Kefilwe Mabote’s Tennis Look Is Exactly What Your Winter Wardrobe Was Missing
Kefilwe Mabote stepped out in a tennis-inspired outfit while attending the American Express Tennis Town experience during Wimbledon, showing how sporty dressing can be adapted for everyday winter style.
She built the outfit around an all-white look, wearing a fitted white high-neck top with a white pleated mini skirt. The pairing gave a nod to classic tennis fashion while maintaining a clean, tailored appearance. Over the top and skirt, she wore an oversized light grey bomber jacket with subtle red piping along the sleeves. The relaxed fit contrasted with the fitted clothing underneath, adding warmth while keeping the outfit balanced.

Mabote carried a structured white top-handle handbag and paired it with white pointed-toe heels, giving the sporty outfit a more refined look. She also wore slim black cat-eye sunglasses and small gold hoop earrings, keeping the jewellery understated and keeping the attention on the outfit.
She wore her hair pulled back neatly beneath a wide white headband, a detail that suited the tennis-inspired outfit. Her makeup was natural, with defined brows, softly enhanced eyes and a neutral lip that matched the all-white look.

The outfit reflects Mabote’s signature style. She often wears monochrome looks, structured outerwear and carefully chosen accessories, pairing feminine shapes with tailored pieces. This appearance follows the same approach seen in some of her previous all-white and neutral-toned outfits, where she continues to favour structured pieces and understated styling.

Mihlali Ndamase Is Making Brown Look Anything But Boring
Mihlali Ndamase has taken an all-brown outfit and given it plenty of contrast.
The South African content creator wore a fitted chocolate-brown long-sleeved top with matching high-waisted trousers. The top follows the body, while the trousers have a relaxed straight-leg cut, giving the outfit a combination of fitted and looser proportions.
Over the brown base, Ndamase added a long brown fur coat with an oversized collar and thick horizontal sections across the sleeves. Its volume gives the otherwise simple outfit a stronger shape, while the different textures keep the brown-on-brown styling from looking flat.

She carried a Gucci top-handle bag in the brand’s beige and brown GG canvas. Tan leather trims and gold-toned hardware added lighter details to the darker clothing, while the structured shape of the bag gave the casual trousers and fitted top a more polished finish.
Her shoes brought the biggest change in colour. Ndamase wore pale green loafers with gold-toned detailing, introducing a cooler shade to the brown-heavy outfit.
Gold jewellery included a circular pendant necklace, bracelets, a watch and rings. She also wore oversized sunglasses with brown-tinted lenses, tying the accessory choice back to the rest of the outfit.

For beauty, Ndamase pulled her dark hair back into a slick style and kept her makeup in neutral tones. Defined eyes, full lashes, shaped brows and a glossy nude-pink lip completed the look without adding another strong colour.
Brown has appeared in Ndamase’s wardrobe before, including previous looks styled with chocolate tones, gold jewellery and brown accessories. Her latest outfit takes that preference in a more coordinated direction, using the colour across the clothing before introducing the Gucci bag, green loafers and gold details for contrast.
The result is a look that shows how much range a neutral shade can have when different textures, shapes and accessories are brought together.

Bonang Matheba Goes Big on Tailoring at the 2026 SAMAs
Bonang Matheba arrived at the 2026 South African Music Awards in Sun City in an oversized grey linen suit by South African label UNI FORM by Luke Radloff. The look traded the expected red-carpet gown for strong tailoring, with the cut and proportions of the suit taking centre stage.

The grey linen jacket has broad shoulders, oversized sleeves and a long cut, with a matching tie tucked beneath the pointed collar. The trousers have an extra-wide leg that falls almost to the floor, creating a generous shape from the waist down. A gold-toned buckle at the waist adds contrast to the grey fabric, while the long jacket panels extend over the trousers.

Bonang kept the accessories focused. She wore animal-print pointed heels beneath the wide trousers, while stacked bracelets, a watch and gold earrings added jewellery to the look. The gold earrings also worked with the buckle at her waist. Oversized dark sunglasses completed the styling.
Her hair was cut into a short, side-parted black bob, with loose strands framing her face. She paired the hairstyle with a deep berry lipstick, which added contrast to the grey suit.

The outfit also recalls Bonang’s previous tailoring looks. In July 2025, she wore an oversized pinstriped suit with a white shirt, long tie, angular sunglasses and pointed pumps. The similarity is clear in the use of an oversized suit, tie and statement eyewear, although the SAMA look takes the proportions further.
At the 2026 SAMAs, Bonang’s choice of grey linen and wide-leg tailoring offered another example of how she uses suiting for major appearances. The outfit stays close to her established preference for strong tailoring while giving it a more relaxed, oversized shape.
