Teremana Tequila arrived in South Africa, and it was celebrated in Cape Town. It was founded by Dwayne Johnson, Teremana Tequila has established itself as a beverage brand. Its expansion into South Africa includes markets across Europe, Asia, and Latin America.

Teremana Tequila’s move into South Africa highlights Africa’s growing importance in the global spirits industry. According to Statista, the African spirits market is expected to reach about $6.39 billion in 2025, with growth above 7% annually). South Africa is a key market due to its strong consumer base and distribution networks.

The South African launch was planned properly and this aligns with the brand’s philosophy of “sharing the mana.” This concept promotes positivity and brings people together. The event welcomed media figures and hospitality professionals.

Teremana is made to bring people together, and South Africa’s culture of  generosity, hosting and celebration makes it the perfect place to share that spirit,” she concluded. 

The brand production is done with local materials. Teremana Tequila is made using 100% mature blue agave, which is roasted in brick ovens and distilled in copper pot stills.
