Mzansi Reacts to Khuli Chana and Lamiez Holsworthy Lavish Wedding Celebration

Khuli Chana and Lamiez Holworthy had their white wedding in a three-day affair. They have been together since 2018, but decided to formalize their union.

The wedding took place in Mahikeng in the North West and ran from April 10 to April 12, 2026. It was a low key event, with just close family, friends and a few celebrities like Lebogang Tlokana (Funny Chef) invited. The couple had already formalised their union legally in 2022.

Lamiez stood out in a blue traditional-inspired gown. Khuli wore a blue suit that looked good on him. Lamiez gown was made by Orapelege Modutle, a talking point with fans praising its detailing.

Jachie Phamotse said:

“Just love how Khuli Chana and Lamiez Wholeworthy handled their special day. Just their true friends and family. Did it in their own time and just how they wanted. Congratulations you two stunning people.“

Videos online showed the couple dancing to the classic track Seanamarena.

In 2019 Khuli initiated lobola negotiations with Lamiez’s family. They already have a son together, Leano-Laone Zion Morule, born in 2023. Khuli has a daughter, Nia Lefika, from his previous relationship with Asanda Maku.

During her wedding speech, Lamiez spoke about their relationship. She spoke about how Khuli continues to treat her with care.

You put me and our children first. I have no doubt even in my sleep that you love me. And I remember when you said to your family, ‘I want to marry this woman’, and they wondered why because it’s only been three months. And seven years later, we’re still married.

“He still treats me like a queen. We have a family of our own. And that for me is how I know that God loves me,” she said.

The three-day celebration in Mahikeng gained attention online, with clips from the event shared widely across social media in South Africa.
