Focalistic Becomes First African Musician to Collaborate With Adidas South Africa
Focalistic has become the first African musician to co-design an Adidas South Africa sneaker collection. The partnership was announced through the launch of the “FocaForum 2000,” an event which will take place on April 24,2026.
The collaboration marks a significant milestone for Focalistic and African music culture. Adidas Originals has previously worked with Beyoncé and Kanye West. This makes Focalistic’s inclusion historic partnership.

The sneaker is based on the Adidas Forum silhouette, originally released in 1984 as a basketball shoe. Focalistic’s version introduces black premium leather and gold accents connected to Pretoria and Ga Rankuwa. One of the standout design details is a map of Ga Rankuwa embedded into the sneaker design, while other features include the Union Buildings and his “Straata Nation” movement.

The collection also includes graphic T-shirts designed around Focalistic’s personal branding and identity. Some of the shirts feature street map graphics from Pretoria, while others include adidas Trefoil branding mixed with “18” and “Focalistic” graphics. The clothing pieces follow designs inspired by South African street fashion and amapiano culture.

Focalistic described the project as an extension of his long running “Pitori to the World” message. He said he wanted people from townships and local communities to feel pride in their background.
‘Pitori to the world’ has always been about exporting our culture and showing where we come from. The FocaForum 2000 is an extension of that vision. Something people can physically experience. It’s about taking something personal and turning it into something the world can hold. I want people to feel luxury in where they come from. To know that their story is valid.” ~ Focalistic“
The release highlights how amapiano artists are influencing global fashion. Since breaking into the mainstream with songs like “Ke Star,” Focalistic has risen from Pretoria rapper to international amapiano figure. This has made him one of the genre’s most recognisable artists worldwide.

Kim Kardashian Offers a Peek at Her Friendship With Lewis Hamilton on Instagram
Kim Kardashian has given followers a look at her friendship with Lewis Hamilton after sharing a series of personal moments on Instagram.
The reality television star and businesswoman recently posted a carousel of images and videos captioned “Lately”, offering a snapshot of family moments, travel experiences and downtime.
Among the collection were several appearances by Hamilton, which prompted discussion among fans who have been following reports about the pair’s connection in recent months.

One image showed Kardashian and Hamilton riding bicycles together in New York City. In a light-hearted video included in the post, Kardashian appeared to lose control of her bicycle while Hamilton attempted to film a selfie. The brief clip showed the pair in a casual setting and generated discussion online.
The post also featured a photograph of the two riding side by side, marking one of the clearest glimpses Kardashian has shared of Hamilton on her Instagram feed. While neither has publicly discussed the nature of their connection in detail, the inclusion of the Formula One star in a personal photo dump prompted discussion among followers.

Alongside the images with Hamilton, Kardashian shared photos with her children, family members and friends. The collection reflected a mix of everyday moments and behind-the-scenes snapshots, giving followers a broader look at what she has been doing away from red carpets and business ventures.
Media attention surrounding Kardashian and Hamilton has continued throughout 2026. Reports of the pair spending time together first emerged earlier in the year, with sightings in several locations, including Paris, Tokyo and major public events. Their appearances together have attracted interest, although both have largely avoided commenting publicly on their connection.

Hamilton’s appearance in Kardashian’s latest Instagram update is notable because it provides a glimpse of their interaction away from public events. Rather than showing the pair at a formal event or staged appearance, the images show them in a casual setting away from the public engagements that typically place them in the spotlight.
The post showed moments away from race tracks, television cameras and business meetings, offering followers a different perspective on two public figures whose professional lives are often documented in the media.
