Cardi B is officially a mom of four! The “Bodak Yellow” rapper and boyfriend Stefon Diggs welcomed their first child on Thursday, according to an Instagram post. The 33-year-old star shared a video of herself modeling her post-baby physique in a black miniskirt and coat, writing that her life has always been “a combination of different chapters and different seasons.”

Starting over, she said, “is never easy but it’s been so worth it.” Cardi celebrated bringing “new music and a new album to the world,” along with “a new baby into my world, and one more reason to be the best version of me.” She added that this new chapter is “Me vs. Me,” noting she’s already prepping for her tour and ready to give fans “the performance of a lifetime.”

TMZ confirmed she gave birth to a son “last week” after rumors circulated when footage surfaced of her sitting in a New Jersey gym. Cardi previously revealed in September on CBS Mornings that she and the NFL star were expecting, telling Gayle King she felt “excited,” “happy,” and in a “good space.”

Her rep later confirmed the birth to TODAY.com, sharing no further details. The news followed an Instagram post where Cardi reflected on entering a “new season” and the strength she’s found through motherhood.

This baby marks her first with Diggs and joins her three children with estranged husband Offset, daughter Kulture, 7, son Wave, 3, and daughter Blossom, born in 2024. Cardi filed for divorce from Offset for the second time in 2024. She previously shared that her newest addition would arrive before her 2026 “Little Miss Drama Tour” kicks off.

Londie London Moves Beyond the Glamour in New Reality Series “Life With Londie London”

Published

on

Londie London - Instagram

For Londie London, visibility has not been the issue; control of her narrative has. Following her exit from The Real Housewives of Durban, a highly publicised relationship breakdown, and the scrutiny that followed, her story has largely been presented in disconnected accounts, often shaped by external commentary. Life With Londie London signals an attempt to reclaim control of her story by addressing unresolved aspects that have played out publicly.

The series, set to premiere on Mzansi Magic in May 2026, places Londie at the centre of the story in a more direct way. Unlike her time on The Real Housewives of Durban, where storylines are driven by group interactions and conflict, this show moves away from a group format. The focus stays on her, without other cast members or parallel storylines pulling attention elsewhere.

What emerges is a version of Londie that challenges how she has previously been perceived. The show tracks her as a mother, daughter, entrepreneur and partner, but these roles are not presented as aspirational. Instead, they are shown as demands that often conflict. The focus is on maintaining stability, reputation and personal boundaries.

Londie’s public life has long been defined by partial accounts, including headlines, social media speculation and unresolved narratives. Rather than ignoring public speculation, Life With Londie London addresses it directly. The series acknowledges controversy, revisits past tensions and presents them from her perspective. It reflects an effort to present her own account.

Magazine coverage has highlighted the show’s focus on moments usually kept private, including vulnerability, uncertainty and emotional strain. Reality television often relies on access, but rarely allows full control. Here, Londie appears to balance access with control.

The tone is different from her earlier appearances, which focused more on image and status. This time, it centres on her everyday life. It focuses on ongoing developments such as rebuilding her brand, navigating family life and re-establishing her identity after public scrutiny. It emphasises continuous documentation rather than isolated moments.

Reducing the emphasis on image removes some of the distance that typically limits public scrutiny. Londie acknowledges the discomfort that comes with this level of visibility, particularly when it involves her children and private relationships.

Life With Londie London indicates a different use of reality television for a personality already shaped by the genre. It focuses less on maintaining a public image and more on presenting her perspective directly.

For Londie, the series marks a shift towards changing how her story is presented publicly.

Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and Sade Adu Inducted Into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame has announced the induction of Fela Anikulapo-Kuti and Sade Adu, placing two artists with very different approaches to music in the same class.

For Fela, the recognition follows years of nominations and support from critics and musicians who view Afrobeat as one of the most influential genres to emerge from Africa. His recordings from the 1970s and 1980s, particularly albums like Zombie and Expensive Shit, have been frequently referenced by international music publications. Outlets such as Rolling Stone and Pitchfork have consistently ranked his work among the most important global contributions to modern music, noting his direct political messaging and complex arrangements, which departed from standard pop song structures.

Sade Adu’s induction points to a different type of influence. Emerging in the 1980s with her band Sade, she has maintained consistent commercial performance over decades without frequent releases or heavy promotion. Albums such as Diamond Life and Love Deluxe continue to attract new listeners through streaming and media use. Coverage from outlets like Billboard often highlights her consistency, noting a sound that avoids shifting trends.

The Hall of Fame has historically faced criticism for its narrow definition of “rock”, with past inductions gradually expanding to include hip-hop, R&B and global music traditions. Fela’s inclusion marks a more direct recognition of African genres. Many critics argue that Afrobeat’s fusion of jazz, highlife and funk influenced artists far beyond Nigeria, shaping rhythms and production in American and British music scenes.

Sade’s case is less about genre expansion and more about longevity. Her work does not fit easily into rock classifications, yet its impact on contemporary R&B and pop is widely recorded. Artists over time have cited her as an example of restrained vocals and minimal production. Unlike many Hall of Fame inductees, her public presence has remained deliberately limited, without affecting her commercial performance.

Industry reaction has focused on the timing of the decision. Both artists have been eligible for years, and their eventual induction raises questions about how the Hall weighs global influence against commercial success. Neither artist built their career solely around the American market, yet their music has maintained a strong presence within it.

For many African audiences, Fela’s induction has added significance. His music was inseparable from his political activism, and his legacy is maintained in Nigeria through institutions like the Felabration, which draws international audiences each year. Sade, though more removed from public life in Nigeria, remains one of the most widely recognised artists of Nigerian heritage.

Placing both names on the same list does not suggest similarity in style or career strategy. Instead, it reflects a shift in how influence is assessed. The Hall of Fame is moving toward recognising artists whose impact falls outside traditional Western genre categories.

Social Media Reacts as Sni Mhlongo and Zamani Mbatha Reunion Rumours Trend on X

Rumours circulating on X suggest Sni Mhlongo and Zamani Mbatha are about to reunite. Despite how their original relationship ended, fans are shocked about the possibility of a reconciliation.

Back in 2023, the highly public breakup was loud and messy. After nearly six years together, Mhlongo accused Mbatha of infidelity. That post  triggered widespread online reaction, as additional details circulated that she had allegedly caught him “in bed with another woman.” Mbatha  stayed silent and never addressed the allegations.

However, in April 2026 the possibility of a reunion is on social media due to public appearances. Photos circulating online show them together in traditional Zulu attire. Also, Mbatha’s niece attended Mhlongo’s recent memulo ceremony, added to speculation. A viral post from controversial commentator Musa Khawula claims the two had “secretly gotten back together,”

Some fans believed the relationship never truly ended, with a post from Khethi reading, “I thought we all knew that Sni and Zamani were still together.” Others have taken a more logical position, questioning why someone would publicly expose cheating only to reconcile later. Thuli Tia said,

“So she exposed him… knowing very well she will take him back.”

Basetsana Kutu said,

“Why take it to the internet if you know well that you willing to forgive him”

While neither party has confirmed the reunion, it could be because of some reasons. First, the length of their relationship matters. Six years can’t be ignored. Second, their continued proximity in the same industry circles may increase interactions.

Whether the reconciliation is true or not, time will tell.
