South Africa’s reality relationship series is back as Married at First Sight Mzansi returns for its third season this Sunday, introducing a new group of singles willing to marry a complete stranger in the hope of finding a lasting relationship.

The new season premieres on Sunday, 5 July, with a 90-minute special at 17:30 on Mzansi Magic. After the extended launch episode, the series will move to its regular Sunday time slot at 18:00.

Based on the Married at First Sight format, the South African edition follows strangers who agree to marry someone chosen for them by relationship experts. The couples first meet at the altar before beginning a journey that tests their compatibility, communication and commitment.
