Netflix has announced a new South African title called Yoh! Bestie, starring Katlego Lebogang. The film is set to premiere on the platform on February six, twenty twenty six, and forms part of Netflix’s 2026 local content slate. Yoh! Bestie continues the story that began in the romantic comedy series Yoh! Christmas, which was released in December twenty twenty three and received steady attention from local audiences.

Katlego Lebogang returns in her role as Thando Mokoena, a character many viewers were introduced to during the festive themed series. In Yoh! Christmas, Thando’s story focused on love, family expectations, and the pressure to settle down, all told through everyday moments that felt familiar to many people. The series ended with unresolved questions around Thando’s relationships, especially her connection with Charles, played by Siya Sepotokele. Yoh! Bestie could end up being one of the top movies to watch in 2026.
