Tyla Joins Shakira’s ‘Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran’ US Tour as Special Guest

Tyla has been announced as a special guest on the United States leg of Shakira’s Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour. This came after both artists appeared at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Mexico City.

According to reports, Tyla will join the North American leg of the tour. Shakira also spoke highly of the South African star. The Colombian superstar described the upcoming collaboration as “simply iconic,” and praised Tyla both as an artist and a person.

Shakira said:

“I love Tyla. I love her as an artist and as a human being. I think she’s just amazing. I think this performance is going to be simply iconic.”

The US leg of Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour starts on June 13 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. There will be performances in San Jose, Dallas, Atlanta, Miami, Baltimore, Boston, Newark, Brooklyn, Belmont Park and Atlantic City. Due to fan demand, new dates have been added, further extending Shakira’s presence in the American market.

Shakira’s tour is already a commercial success with the Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran World Tour  generating more than $421 million in revenue and sold over 3.3 million tickets. This is a new record by a Latin artist.

Just days before the tour was announced, Tyla was at the FIFA World Cup singing “Nkosi Sikelel’ iAfrika” alongside the Mzansi Youth Choir. During the opening ceremony she performed the anthem to a cheering crowd who were thrilled by her. Sharing the stage with artists such as Shakira Burna Boy and Future marked another high-profile moment in her international career.

She has established herself as one of Africa’s most successful global music exports. Her addition comes as the tour continues its record-breaking run.
