Nasty C and Tellaman have reunited on their latest single, Big Timing. The track arrives as anticipation grows around a collaborative project from the two Durban-born artists, who have maintained a strong relationship for many years.

Big Timing is on Nasty C’s FREE Deluxe project which is an expanded version of his album. The song themes are around growth, ambition and success.  Both artists reflect on the journeys that made the established names in the South African music industry. The track shows why staying connected to the people who supported their vision from the beginning is important.

Nasty C said the song was created when he was reflecting.

I was in a very clear space when I made ‘Big Timing’,” he said. “I wanted something that felt celebratory, but not empty. It is confidence, but it is also gratitude. It is me looking around and realizing the people I started with are still here, and we are not just surviving anymore, we are moving properly now.”

Tellaman’s performance brought warmth and emotion to the track. He understands how to combine R&B with contemporary African sounds. Their combination of Nasty C’s lyrical skills and Tellaman’s vocals makes Big Timing appealing to music fans. They have worked together on tracks like Don’t Do It, Zone, 25, and Sunset Walks
